This was a hell of a ride, loved the bittersweet ending

Amazing. its really strange. In some ways I absolutely love this fic. I love the way you characterized Kakashi and Naruto. It was very believable. Despite it all, you kept the essence of characters the same. The fight scenes were good too,. ABIT confusing at times but good.
The ending was so damn bittersweet. I totally understood where Naruto was coming from but I wish you could have given the resolution of Naruto sacrificing himself a bit more time. Because earlier Naruto Is in despair that Konoha was still destroyed but later he snaps back to happy that his friends are alive and he has lived his life. I wish you could have described the change in his thought process.
I still don't get the place where Kakashi asked to meet them, so if you could clarify that it would be great.
The ending made me cry. You have written an amazing story, one of a kind, with very believable power levels. What people fail to realize that jinchuriki and sharingan are cheat codes and for a Naruto who didn't have the Kyubi and yet come so far with nothing but his own skills is nothing short of amazing. I believe this is my favourite depiction of a Kyubi less Naruto. The point here is to show that Naruto is mortal like everybody else. He is a Kage tier ninja but not a god.
You have a way with emotions and characters. They were so, so incredibly nuanced.

Everyone seems to to superfluously love the adult Naruto. They more happy that he revived Kakashi than distraught that he died doing so.

I tried, i really tried. But I'm gonna have to drop it here sorry.

The whole I'm from future revelation should be dramatic, it should be tense. But this story like so many others just seems to want to rush past what should be an extremely important part of the story like it's no big deal, because u want to get to the next part of the story quickly it seems.

Other than the questionable structure of the plot, the writing was on point and entertaining. Although in your fight scenes it was easy to lose track of who was where.

Really really well written. It's quite disconcerting to see Kakashi in Obito's shoes. He's always the professional, loyal one. This version of Kakashi chills me to the bone, and I can see why Naruto hates him so. I wonder how strong Naruto is. Having Obito as a teacher and Minato being present... I hope he had hiraishin!

Why is Naruto so weak? Especially since he's the Hokage? He's a sage and he has kyuubi. I know he's chakra depleted but so is Kakashi.

God damn, this has to be the best fanfiction I have ever read, not just the best Naruto fanfiction but the best fanfiction out there. I pulled an all nighter on accident reading this since it was so deep and just amazing. It would not surprise me if you publish a book in the future, with writing skills this good, I think it's required.

This is a great Naruto AU of what-if-Kakashi-was-caught-by-the-landslide-instead-of-Obito fic, and I really really loved it. The completely different Kakashi is really great to read. Thank you for the amazing story!

I'm having trouble putting into words just how much I loved this story. The AU world post-Kakashi's "death" has so much thought put into it and really feels like a realistic version of what could have happened had Kakashi been caught in the rockslide instead of Obito. Kakashi's reasons for turning into that twisted version of himself worked way better than I thought they would before reading. Changing a character's allegiances so drastically can be really difficult (and I usually don't enjoy it because of that) but you managed to keep the essence of who Kakashi is under all of that. There's so much nuance in the characterizations here and they all felt so true to themselves despite their very different circumstances. Kakashi's dedication to the members of Akatsuki was especially touching, and the way you built all those details into the fic made it all the more satisfying. Also, I was psyched to see just how badass of a leader Kakashi was of the Akatsuki. His intelligence and versatility really make him such a formidable opponent, and even though it hurt in the first couple of chapters to see just how much damage and hatred he'd spread across Konoha (especially regarding Minato's death and Obito's desperation to save him!) it was so, so good. My heart hurts for him and Naruto. Kakashi's inability to hate Madara even after finding out how his memories had been warped felt so realistic and really spoke to the longstanding effects of the torture he underwent. All the POVs in the story were great, but the internal conflicts Kakashi faced were my favorite and made me feel so much. The ending made me tear up - at first I thought it was going to end with Kakashi dead, and it made me really sad because I just wanted the poor guy to get a break for once in his life. Naruto's sacrifice gave the story such a bittersweet but satisfying conclusion, especially considering there was still a Naruto in that world to grow older and Kakashi would get the chance to know him, without all those years of hatred older Naruto and Kakashi had between the two of them. Thank you so much for writing and sharing this story!

Ahh, so that's where the Sharingan came from; Itachi. Nother thing, why would Kakashi the bad not just kill Naruto?

And thus, Kakashi somehow STILL got the Sharingan.

I enjoyed this fic a lot! It's been an interesting take of Akatsuki Kakashi and how things could have been with Minato, Obito and Rin, and no Uchiha massacre. I was sorry for the Kakashi from the past, I wish he could have been saved too, or at least that he could have gotten out of Madara's delusions before the end. I liked the way Naruto gave his life for Kakashi, and the promise of the future Naruto getting older without a future of war and sorrow. Thanks for this story!
