Hey! I too loved your fanfic! I can relate so well to what Carmen went through (kind of) and in the movies she was always my favourite! I was just having a hard time seeing her say or write these things too her dad; I could totally see her writing this to the step mom or sister maybe even the brother but not her dad.
When my dad told my sisters and I that he was getting married I felt all those things and more! But Carmen in the movie seemed to have realized that he was happy, so maybe in the bringing you should of pointed that out? I'm not sure, but great job and thanks for inspiring me!
