I to can’t stand Vulcan being destroyed and I especially hate that the lady Amanda die but this story was awesome I truly wish there had been a little more involved with Bok and Niota but I have to tell you I started reading the story like 11 at night and I finished mid morning I wanted to get every detail this was a good story I am so looking forward to the next

I read your author's notes where you started you have studied languages for the most part of your life. That makes sense because your language is very sophisticated and technical. It is both inspiring and educational. So, thank you for this wonderfully written story!

Enjoying this, but I'm made very uncomfortable by Nyota obsession with vulcans and vulcan culture, it comes across like a race fetish. Which is a form a racism. I hope she grows out it, still I'm in the earlier chapters so things could change.

I love this story. It's slowburn and focuses on the courtship stage.

oh well, I can't stand the destruction of Vulcan. i read so many versions of the part, over written, but you really did try to explain their relationship, it was lovely.

Vulcans are considered humanoids, concluding that Spock was natural birth, dominate genes prevailed . the new star trek theories used genetics programing, stuff we are doing today. I agree with you.

I am crying. This chapter was deep.

this is the slowest fic ever.

I was completely engrossed by this and unable to put it down until I'd read the entire story. It made complete sense and linked so many of the film events together with a logical history of Uhura's time at the Starfleet Academy and an overview of how she got there. I'm glad also that you didn't kill off Gaila, as I felt the screenwriters missed a potentially longterm rich vein of humour. Your original characters provided that heartbreak - enough that I snivelled through the last chapters.
