Hey! First of all — I really like the series you're writing. Genuinely. It's wonderful to read a story that is composed of such original ideas which are different, not only in semantic detail but in dramatic intent, from the original series. I appreciate that the central conflict has been, well, central for the vast majority of the series (as opposed to the first three books being throw-offs while we stalled for Harry to get old enough as it was in cannon).

Secondly — Something I've noticed is the sheer amount of exposition which is included in this particular edition of the series, especially over the last few chapters. I truly don't think we need as much information as you're giving us in regards to the species of trees, creatures, etc which are coming to the forefront of the story. It stops the momentum of the plot (which is amazing) dead in its tracks, which is a problem because it means the immediate stakes of the moment are lessoned. I wish there could be more situations where Albus faced/came-into-contact-with what HE didn't know about, increasing the tension, and through his learning, we found out more. Getting lectured in class and reading books in the library are great ways of introducing new information, but it introduces them at the expense of both the drama of the moment and the immediate stakes of the story.

I've been binge reading this series nonstop and I don't think I'll regain control of my body until I'm done! I'm so tired, but this is too good!

Looking at the argument between Chinch and Aubrey here with hindsight, you have to wonder, did he cast the Imperius? It would've helped to push Aubrey away, leaving the Potters less protected. And I also really hope we find out more about Chinchs relationship with his two partners in the Dark Revival

Why didn't they all escape to Hogsmeade through the Room of Requirement, or other passageways that were not physically blocked off?

I started reading your series in the middle of last week and it's fantastic. I love it.
I love that Albus is Gryffindor, I feel he very much belongs in it while other members of the family might not.
I can't stop reading.

I just wanted to say I'm in Slytherin, though I always thought I was a Ravenclaw, when Pottermore came out I was sorted in Slytherin with only answering as honestly as possible without preference to any House. I have much Slytherin pride and I love that my best friend is a Hufflepuff..now I'm rambling.
I'm sorry I haven't reviewed.
