I've had this scenario in my mind as well like on times after the GMG arc and in the midst of all her over-the-top happiness with her guildmates, she'd remember the events that has happened to her recently and fear that everything might happen again if things weren't prevented but it was actually heartwarming to put Natsu in the story. The way you portray the narration and her sadness made me cry (literally) and even though this has passed in the actual manga, I couldn't help but let this plot get stuck in my head. Natsu will never leave Lucy alone and he shouldn't.

And I haven't been updating myself with the latest chapter!
