This is going to sound like a criticism at first. Penny being OOC is part of the story of course. But Sheldon stays OOC throughout the duration of the fic. That all said, I don't think this should be a fanfiction. You have something really great here. Even though it didn't feel like the characters at all, the story itself and the way you write pulled me right along. I think that with some tweaking, name changes, and flushing out, this could be a completely original novel. Yeah, similarities to total recall aside, I think it is a very fresh story.

That was fanfrickin'tastic. The intrigue, the passion, action, hotness- all of it. Never bought the idea canon-wise of WW all the sudden wanting to be a nice guy after being so cruel to Sheldon (ie 5x5 The Russian Rocket Reaction). This story speaks to the sneaky weasel he is! WHEATON! Also loved the Dewey, Cheatem and Howe throwaway. Man, that makes me feel old, but it made me laugh my ass off. Very satisfying all around. Thank you so much.
