This idea is unique. I haven't read a Johnlock story yet where Sherlock lets John know he is alive. Sometimes John figures it out but usually they stay separated for 2-3 years.
And its very well written. I sincerely hope that you finish someday.

Firstly, being a grow man, they can't keep John there without his consent. Unless he showed immediate suicidal or homicidal behavior. So that's a major plot flaw. Secondly, that was no way to end it. You just stopped in the middle of a scene. Thirdly, none of the characters would out John in a hospital. He wasn't even showing signs of odd behavior. So, yeah. This story bothered me.
