This story is something else. I hope you will update soon because I want to see Itachi and Naru raise the baby together! That would be so cute! With Itachi being all awkward and stuff showing affection to the baby, and Naru just laughing at his awkwardness.

If she left him with Konan's name, it would have been awfully helpful. Why of all things must she forget that? She even saw her (her room was across from Konan's). That would have been invaluable information. More so then the info collected of when she was kidnapped by the Akatsuki.

I believe it is more Naru being used to the loneliness. It was all she knew so to her it didn't seem a bad as Sasuke. In that way she is similar to Kurama; used to isolation. Sasuke was used to being around people. He knows how great one could feel so it is a shock to feel so lonely. He's not as adjusted to it. Although Naru had a FeW people on her side [that were there every now and then (she's a child so she needed to be given attention/care at least once every 24 hrs)] I didn't see any of them defending her. Sasuke was more 'lonely by choice' while Naru was 'lonely by circumstance'.

The major difference: Naru started from the bOtToM and when she reached happiness, it was a positive shock to her system. She wanted that even at the cost of feeling loss. She chose not to remain depressed if she could help it.

Sasuke started from the tOp of the emotional spectrum. He was happy and it was taken away in a day. Reliving the massacre that he previously didn't witness didn't do him any favors either. Loneliness was a negative shock. From there he inferred that bonds only lead to pain, because everyone dies eventually. He probably forgot that he could feel happy again and refused to go through the loss of another person. If you don't get attached they don't matter.

Okay. Great chapter.

In all honesty, that was too invasive and a breach of privacy. She is a shinobi so should value her mind and privacy. By doing what she did and not hiding anything, she also revealed that Itachi helped her escape and that he gave her private Uchiha files. Her mind should be her most precious asset. She shouldn't trust just anyone (as it was not mentioned that she personally knew Inoichi or could sense negative emotions) tamper with her mind, considering many hate her for what she holds. Her mental stability is essential as a jinchuuriki. There's also the problem of Kyuubi. He can send chakra through the gates of the seal and his chakra is toxic. By invading her mind, Inoichi invaded her chakra system, which constantly has Kyuubi's chakra running through it so he shouldn't have gotten off so easy w/o any backlash.

If going into her mind has no consequences. Her mind could've been tampered w/for loyalty or replacing some bad memories for good.

Now, 'why is she loyal to Konoha' & 'why is she so sure all jinchuuriki are loyal to their villages ._.' Gaara wasn't, he was w/Suna for their sand and convenience; it was all he knew. ._.

'why does she choose the village over Itachi' & 'is her love for tHeM (the ViLlAgErS) stronger than her love for him or is it all she's known (to protect Konoha as she's been doing it forever)' She's never stated her reasons so for all I know it was programmed into her by the mind-walkers.
