Natalie chapter 9 . 4/11/2019
"Hmm," I said to myself, "I don't remember this fic. What's it doing in my Favorites folder?" Well, I read it and it absolutely does belong there. Good job!
Nislia chapter 7 . 2/10/2019
I love number 17’s reason for why Aragon does not mention Legolas’ father but rather says “of the woodland realm” these are amazing
birdladyladybird chapter 9 . 2/8/2019
I almost didn't read the last two chapters because the characters that interested me had already been written. Glad I kept going, and I'm glad you saved Gimli for last. He finished strongly.
birdladyladybird chapter 6 . 2/7/2019
'Reassure' is shockingly insightful, though it shouldn't be because Frodo&TheRing are formidable, yet still... you do a remarkable job choosing his insights. In keeping them distinct from the others', but relevant.
birdladyladybird chapter 7 . 2/7/2019
Oie! This chapter breaks my heart.
Lotrfn chapter 1 . 8/4/2016
Simply splendid.
Lotrfn chapter 9 . 8/4/2016
This is even more stirring than the one about Legolas, which I adored. You have captured the heart of Gimli so well here.
Lotrfn chapter 7 . 8/4/2016
I love this. Very well done.
Go Outside chapter 9 . 12/17/2015
Wonderfully written, thank you.
Nearing Midnight chapter 9 . 10/2/2015
Wonderful story! I love your insight on all the characters.
Elenna123 chapter 1 . 5/3/2014
Nice. :) By the way, did you keep the words in the same order as you got them?
Oluhasuu chapter 3 . 2/17/2014
I cried for him!
so that's why I love your time for him
ladybug114 chapter 9 . 11/13/2013
That was absolutely brilliant. You made every word work, even the ones that i thought would have been very difficult. You were able to show the significance, and flaws, of every character, something i definitely respect you for. Great job!
By the way, what did you use to generate these words? I'm thinking of doing something similar (for a different fandom) but i wasn't sure how to pick words...
docmon chapter 7 . 8/12/2013
Another terrific 25! Some serious looks into Legolas's mind, reminding us he was not entirely immune to the dangers of the Quest. And yet some reveal clearly his difference from the other members of the Fellowship. I found Man particularly eloquent. And Boiling was a great laugh! Can't wait to get to the rest (eventually)!
docmon chapter 6 . 8/10/2013
What can I say but AWESOME! So many of these capture Frodo's journey, and even take us deeper into what he was going through.
Clumsy is ominous and yet reminds us that Frodo was once an innocent hobbit.
Rime - love it! A hobbit contemplating shoes! How cold it must have been!
Rough - I've said it many times, but I'll repeat myself: you have a way with words. "feeling the sun on his face and thinking it paler than the staff Gandalf held aloft to guide them through Moria." How completely these words convey Gandalf's place in the hobbits' lives and their hearts.
You really captured how Frodo had changed with Paw, how strong a grip the Ring now had over him. Just like in Mumble, you show how Frodo struggled to keep a piece of himself as the Ring engulfed him. But the ultimate was Palsy. That was downright frightening, that Frodo's last thought, as he was likely dying, was not of home, or friend, or even himself. The ones that follow continue to show Frodo's descent as the Ring claims him.
In the end, you showed his despair, though there's a glimmer in the end that it was not all wasted. Others will enjoy the freedom Frodo bought them.
Frodo's 25 are outstanding, though I would expect nothing less from you!
