"So why the embarrassment? Granted it's hideous. Looks like something my matron Aunt would own. Or possibly Mycroft." Hey ! *grumbles* I'm not saying anything because you'll use it against me, MLC. But hey !

I'm not commenting on the ending, so not ready for that yet... :-D But it was a great story !

Mrs Hudson is such a legend! But I think, for her own sanity and in the name of a good night's sleep, she needs to do something about the noise insulation in 221 Baker Street! Nice little idea for a story. Definitely has the 'ah' factor!

Lovely! A very sweet story dealing with memories and making new memories. John's blushing added a nice touch to the storyline. And, of course, I always enjoy seeing Mrs H shine in her element and reveal her intelligent and sometimes surprising observations.

Dear Mrs H - the story behind the sugar pot, and Jack - both the lost love and the new one - it's breathtaking in it's simplicity, filled with touching moments and humour.
And there are so many good lines - too many - but two stood out especially:

' It is actually quite old and collectable and we had only managed to receive a few pieces when my Jack was killed in an accident." John's eyebrows rose at the sound of Mrs. Hudson's first love's name, but he didn't say anything '- quite touching

'Granted it's hideous. Looks like something my matron Aunt would own. Or possibly Mycroft." ' - bloody funny!

And of course, not one of your stories would be complete without...

'He began to grin wickedly and then drew the doctor back in and kissed him much more thoroughly. Hands slowly slid up the back of John's neck and buried into the fine silky hair. Sherlock nibbled his way to John's ear where he murmured in the tones, which made John's toes curl.' - downright sexy!

I'm sure junejuly15 will love it!
