Whoa! This is a bit of a rollercoaster - and I loved it! You definitely had me going for a bit, I was as surprised as Lorelai. Typical Luke, feeling guilt and responsibility that isn't really his. I mean, genderswap the incident and there would be no question it was predatory. And of course Nicole's in no hurry to reduce his guilt. Urgh.

Waw, great, fresh and original. I don't usually enjoy stories with so much of Nicole but this one was so different and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Nice story, but rethink your aversion to chapters. It's hard to read such a long story in one sitting, and each time I picked it up again I had to figure out where I left off.

This is my second reading of this fiction and realized that I didn't review it the first time. Wonderful story and writing! I hope you make a return with new Oh No wonderfulness!

I was so happy to come across a new story by you and even though there was a lot of Nicole I really enjoyed it. Please do keep writing as you are right when you say it's a shame there isn't many new L/L stories, but you also happen to be one of my favourite fanfic writers! And I like that you only post completed stories, there's nothing worse than reading a good story but it only to be half finished :)

I love how this is centered on Luke & how you slip into his head effortlessly and make him - and us - think of all those demons and angels that one carries in their own head, of all elements of self-image that can either break him or make him.

HOW did I miss this when it was first published?! I heard that you were working on a new story, so I've been scanning specifically for your name. And I have you marked as a favorite author, and I didn't get a notification when this went up. Bless the ladies over at TWoP who linked to this, because is working against me.

Anyway, it totally made my night to see this story was up (and ANOTHER one, which I haven't had a chance to read yet). As always, you didn't disappoint. The dream sequences kind of broke my heart with the way they incorporated Luke's dad. Great Luke and Lorelai dialogue as always. Also, a great way of showing that Nicole just wasn't the right woman for Luke, cheating or no cheating. I'm so glad you're back with new stories and I can't wait for more.

I love your stories. I feel about them the way I feel about only one or two other GG authors: When I start a story by you, I know I can relax and settle in for a long and always satisfying tale. I totally trust you as an author.

I love the way you write Luke, so I loved the beginning of this and how we jumped right into his pretty, troubled head. Lots of angst and conversations and reveals later, all of which were great, and then, one of your trademark, oh so hot scenes with the making of the love for the first, and then the second time. Lovely stuff.

Again, thank you so much for gifting us with this intricate story that obviously took you a long time to pull together. You are a master at creating these specific little timetables for our fave couple; ones that usually take them from their awesome friendship to the realization that they are meant to be much more than friends. You always get it to all fit in: the bantering, the crazy townies, the way that Luke and Lorelai lean on each other in so many ways. It's a complete world you create for them, and I am always so grateful to be able to visit there through your stories!

A little shout-out to the "3 burned tongues" thing. Ha! Funny. "Buried with Cinnamon." Lots of chuckles there.

You lead and I'll follow you anywhere, but I have to say, you threw one thing in this story that I had a hard time with. Nicole says: "Do you have any idea how many men want me?" This was your attempt at showing how delusional the woman was, right? Because, yeah - NO! Hee!

(I have to admit, I was really hoping for a good fight between Lorelai and Nicole! That would have been something in your hands!)

For me, the best part of all was the conversation between Luke and Lorelai upstairs in his apartment, when she made sure he knew he was a great guy and had nothing to be ashamed of. The whole scene was wonderful. "Not-My-Damn-Girlfriend." "Just try to stay clear of hot women and rooms with beds." "Those shoes with this hat? I wouldn't be caught dead."

Fascinating idea for a story. And again, your inclusion of the townies here and there adds so much. Caesar and his grandma; Patty & Babette were absolutely awesome; Lane inadvertently being made to hang up on Lorelai.

Let's do this again before another year rolls around, shall we, dear?
