I loved this! I know you said this is a one shot, but I definitely hope you will add more to this later! I think you've laid a very good foundation, and I really love your characterizations of Ted and andromeda as strong and kind individuals- nothing over the top and unrealistic, like an Andy who sticks up for Ted out of the blue or a weak and sappy Ted. This has huge potential! I love stories that start with a friendship and show how/why andromeda changes despite a very forcefully brainwashed upbringing, while also developing a Ted who's worthy of falling in love with! I hope this is a good start, as opposed to the end!
