This is a delightful story and I adore the slow burn and how it’s different but the same to canon

Kudos! It's not easy to make an almost 50 year old woman giggle through a story...but you did it. This must have been hell on you, trying to keep the pronouns straight!

this story is very clever

I've only just found this story, and omg. So many giggles, I think I might have injured myself. And it was sooo cute and sweet in spots, omg. The whole thing was just lovely. . Well done!

Whew! I read this in one sitting and I'm *still* grinning ear to ear.

Haruhi is perfect.. *too* perfect. He always has the right thing to say, and he never makes any mistakes. None of the characters seem to have any flaws, aside from Tamaki, the Lobelia Trio, Eclair, and so forth. There was also some smackings of cultural appropriation with the host club themes, but since they do that in canon anyway I can't really fault you. On top of being too perfect, I think the Host Club acted differently around Guy!Haruhi than they did around Original!Haruhi. Not so much coddling. This could be marked up to "they see him as a boy", but honestly, Original!Haruhi's personality is probably what won them over, not the fact that she was a girl. Aside from Tamaki's whole "daddy" act, I personally think the Host Club would treat Haruhi almost exactly the same no matter what gender Haruhi identified as. (On top of that, it's not like Tamaki and Kyōya are necessarily straight in this fic, so that still leaves room for them to be mildly attracted to / protective over Haruhi.)

I liked genderbent!Takashi a whole lot, but she feels like a passive character.

Nevertheless, I can still say I like this fic a lot. I like Morinozuka Shizune, I like Haruhi (despite what I just said about him being too perfect) and I really, really liked the chemistry between Haruhi and Taka. Oh, and also how everyone in this story was chill with the crossdressing / same sex relationships.

I also noticed that Kasanoda didn't make it to Haruhi and Tama's second wedding, and neither did Hani's girlfriend. Wonder why that is?

So so so so so cute!

I freakin love it best ever ever and Tamaki and Koyha ( I wrote that wrong ) paring loved it so much.

I have a feeling that if I were Haruhi (male) in that situation, I would have taken off my shirt to show those stubborn girls what I really am. And if I had to, show that other "specifically male" place too.

The sweet fluffy squishy feelings are enough to give ME cavities. Marshmallow fic? But seriously, this is a cute cheer-up story for when you want something light and fun.
