I've never seen the movie this is based off of so I'm not sure what are your ideas and what belongs to the movie, but I had to stop just now in my reading to say how brilliant I'm finding it so far. Thanks so much for writing!

I think we all very well knew where this was going when we found out Sybil's ex was Tom Bellasis. And who doesn't love a good 'two complete strangers have to share a room and fall in love" fic?

I have seen the movie once, a veeery long time ago. But I did remember the scene where they met each other again at the end after their break up.
And I think it was a nice theme for this fic. That it isn't explicitly about Sybil's relationship with Tom but just relationships in general.

Maybe I'm the only one who didn't see it coming that Tom was the author of the book Sybil was reading? Because I totally didn't see it coming. But the reveal was hilarious. And I just love fics where Tom is a writer (which is nearly very fic but still). There is just something about writer Tom I really love. And it was interesting to read how he struggled as someone in that profession and how Sybil encouraged him.

I have to admit, I didn't expect the sex part to come so soon. I was just as surprised as Edith was. I found hers and Gwen's commentaries on Sybil's relationship status very enjoyable to read. And how they found out immediately that they have slept together. The teasing was so much fun.

All in all, it was a good read and very enjoyable, I read it in one go!

I don't usually read a ST fanfic but somehow I ended up reading yours from start to finish. All I could say is that you are such a good writter and your story was so beautifully written. Loved the dynamics between MM, EG,ST.

This does seem to tie it up neatly, giving us a nice view of how Sybil and Tom both changed in those two weeks and the years since. Thank you for coming back to this!

I love this universe with these two (just keep posting drabbles in it as far as I'm concerned), even here, the way you write them so matured, is perfect. And LOL at Tom's mother getting the lowdown on his books from her hairdresser! Probably a good thing she's there anyway, since its likely to make her hair curl!

But I loved that you took my drabble prompt and made it the memory as they returned in honor of their ten year anniversary! For some reason never got into the film which I think put me off reading this but so glad I did, a really great read and well worthy of its award, loved all the relationship insecurities and a great way to pass a slovenly new years day

Aw, I’m so glad Tom Bellasis found a nice lady and that he and Sybil can be civil (unlike his mother, apparently!) Love the wrap-up and the peek into the Bransons’ future. This was such a charming story despite the angst - I’m sorry to see it end but looking forward to updates on your other projects!

Eeee! Love how you worked their proposal. I also like how you explain the contrast between Sybil’s feelings for Tom Bellasis and her current Tom - how talking about love made her embarrassed with Tom #1 since she knew on some level that she wasn’t feeling it, but with Tom #2 it only makes her happier. (Poor Tom #1, though.)

Hehe, my family could learn a lesson from Sybil about not interrupting people when they’re in the zone… ;) And her reaction to his story and Gwen’s to finding out he’s TB Nightingale are perfect!

Mags, you're a genius! I love this story in soo many ways. It's funny without being over the top. It deals with a hella lot of issues that you narrated in such a way that everything works. I actually hated 500days, TBH, maybe I wasnt mature enough to handle the plot, IDK. But THIS story! I LOVE! It dealt with choices and closure and Love (capital L), with feminist views, with closet reading (and loving it), with honest and telling the truth. And it was all handled so straightforward, with wit and humor. Good work :)

Perfect...perfect...the way she met Tom's 1 girlfriend. And her phone call with Tom 2, it was so Sybil...It was a really great story ( and I feel a little bit sad that it is already over :( )

I know that I haven't reviewed this story as much as I should have (if ever), but I have really loved reading it. I have never seen the movie that you said this story is based on, so everything was always new and fresh for me. I loved how Tom and Sybil were thrown together at the beginning of the story and then "fell" for each other. I also loved how you let the story come full circle at the end with Sybil and Tom Bellasis meeting again and both agreeing that they were much happier in their current lives. Thank you for a great story!
