This really is the best of the best of svm fanfiction. Have read it many times. Such a clever and satisfying plot and your Sookie is so 3-D I feel like I’ve actually met her. The internal logic never falters. Just a pleasure to read.

“ Well, you know how the media loves covering young, blonde white women being hurt.” Nice dig at the news media! Accurate, although hair color can vary as long as the other criteria hold.

Hmmm. I find myself confused again. They talked about this being a second blood exchange, but I don’t recall Eric taking any of Sookie’s blood at all so far. I don’t think I overlooked it happening based on her freak-out towards the end of the chapter. It’s only an “exchange” when they each share their blood with the other, particularly in a more or less simultaneous way.

Okay, Babbling Sookie is entertaining, but the chapter on the whole confuses me. Eric told Sookie how endangered she is now because of QSA & her progeny, but instead of discussing the huge risk, she & her fairy godmother are too busy thinking about the right outfit for Sookie to wear to see Eric?

I really like your characterization of both Sookie and Eric. Sookie is likeabke. She has high standards. She isn’t a stupid doormat. She is smart. I have no idea what some might have a problem with.

I love your Sookie. She's already explained she doesn't know how all that relationship works, how she's "meant" to feel and react to any given situation. She's born an anomaly so everything is different. Bravo for following your instincts and this Sookie you created. Very refreshing. I absolutely love this story even with the angst but it's befitting the story completely. Thank you for sharing your imagination

I usually review at the end, but this chapter's author's note made me do it early. I love your version of Sookie. She is independent without being a headstrong idiot like a lot of stories make her out to be. I realize this story is a few years old but yeah. It's a damn good story. It's still appreciated after all this time!

Even after all this time, I get a big reading high from finding a new story to add to my favorites collection. I couldn’t eat, wash laundry or clean because I had to read what happened next. I wish you had more stories, but I look forward to re-reading this gem whenever I need a pick me up.

I think this story could be a launching pad for a more expansive story/epic. I feel like you just scratched the surface of Pam, and even Eric, to an extent. Eric quoting Pablo Neruda love poems? Swoon times 100!

I don’t know how many times I’ve read this fic. One of my all time faves. Great writing, great characterisation, incredibly interesting divergence from canon, the plot is gripping. Eric is perfect. Sookie is just different enough to be enjoyable but not so different that there’s a complete departure from her canon portrayal. Thank you!

Totally think Sookie was well within her rights to leave. Staying would have let Eric think she was no better than a pet. Go Sookie! Even if it does lead her into some nasty trap.
