You didn't linger too long on the details and kept the dialogue to a minimum (which is perfectly in line with cannon Garrus might I add.) Did I mention the tension? The tension! Oooooooh the tension A. You've tread the fine line of mature fiction nicely, it's unashamedly adult without dissolving into literary vulgarity, so bonus points for tasteful writing!
