I didn't read this fic at first because I can barely remember watching a few episodes of El Hazard fifteen years or so ago.

This was hilarious. Though it works as a one-shot, it would be great to expand it into a full series. I love the idea of Louise having a non-combat familiar. Nietzchian is writing a similar story in Emperor of Zero, with Napoleon Bonaparte acting as the familiar. The situation could be similar here, with Jinnai using his massive intellect (or whatever it is he uses to get his way, maybe dumb luck) to strategize, connive, and blunder his way to power with poor, unfortunate Louise along for the ride.

Anyway, great work. Lord God Jinnai has always been one of my favorite anime characters, and it's good to see him in action.

One things is certain though, besides a case of megalomania to match his paranoia, Katsuhiko Jinnai possesses a selective animal magnetism that attracts over-powered females to his person (or other way around).
