I wish you would change your mind and come out of retirement and write again! I will Always love MerDer and read stories about this special couple. Your AU stories were and are special to me. I quit watching Grey's after 112/21, but; I still search fanfic for MerDer stories. Come out of retirement because you have a true gift for writing this pair like no one else. Sure would like to read a sequel to this stories and some others as well. Thank you for all the joy your stories have brought into my life. Meredith, baby Jamie and two "rescued" pup-dogs. Missing is her incredibly handsome husband the renowned restaurateur Derek Shepherd. Derek knows his way around the culinary world but has been coming of short finding his way as a husband and father ... he'll get it sorted.

Sam seems to be the perfect nanny/housekeeper for the young Shepherd family.

Always the best when Meredith and Cristina keep in touch.

Liked learning that Mark was part of their wedding party.

The name of the new restaurant there in Oahu ... Luna Mer is perfect. Derek does have to come to the point of learning to delegate responsibility. He hired the best I'm sure ... now he must let them do their jobs.

Fun learning that Mer is a budding author.

I've been so busy I haven't had time to comment after I quickly read the latest chapter before bed- and I'm sorry for that! I've loved this story, as usual! Sad to see it end, but looking forward to the next adventure. :)

I am glad that you ended it happily, even it they have everyday issues to consider. It's very normal, and very them, I bet it's hard to transition so quickly from a lonely, unattached life, to a place in your life when you have to share yourself between your wife, your baby, your dogs and your job. I am happy he wants to work on being more present, but I understand that it is harder for men to adjust sometimes.

The fact that they have a male housekeeper simply added to the fun. I could easily imagine Derek being jealous of him, though Meredith loves him so much he should never have a problem with him.

Thank you for the epilogue, and thank you for writing this great, great story. It had such a peculiar plot, and yet, you were able to keep our characters so true to the canon. Beautiful job all around.
