I love this story. Please write more.

Just read your author’s note before this chapter and I have to say, personally, it doesn’t bother me at all that Rory hasn’t shown up since the last meeting. I LOVE Jess-centric fics so seeing his interaction with Luke, Matt, Chris and EVEN Lorelai is so lovely to me (and you made all their interactions believable as well. I can totally see Jess and Lorelai affronting a truce with each other for the sake of Luke and them bridging an understanding exactly like the way you wrote. So good on you for that). Also, you get brownie points in my book for the sake of intentionally building up Jess’s character and world and not have his character be all-consumed and defined by Rory. I’ve been really drawn to slow-burn fics lately just because I think how essential it is for Jess and Rory to reconnect as acquaintances, then friends, then possibly re-opening that wound of romance because like you stated in your fic, they really aren’t the same people anymore, especially after Season 7. Their both fully grown adults now with totally different paths. And there’s consequences to their actions from what previously happened. It’s not like they’ll immediately fall in love again after every thing that’s happened.

Anyways, really enjoying this fic so far. I know it’s been awhile since you’ve been on here and updated this fic (and I was actually unsure if I wanted to continue reading since I was enjoying it so much but know it’s not finished). But in case you still get notifications on reviews, just wanted to let you know this fic is so great, so well-thought out so fari’ve barely started). totally unfazed by Rory’s absence and absolutely divulging in Jess’s development. Thanks for that.

This story is really well written. I love the banter between Jess and Rory and well everybody. Please write more.

Just now found your story and can't stop reading. Ita really good and refreshing to read something without so many goddamned spelling and grammar mistakes. It's a really good story too! The only thing I would maybe advice is to not put all the dialogue in one block. It makes it hard to decipher who says what. But that's just advice I got on my first piece. Do with it what you like. I like your writing! Keep up!

I like this story. I'm getting a little lost timing wise though. Shouldn't we be getting a holiday like Christmas soon? And what about Liz and Doula? I would actually like to see a chapter with Jess taking care of Doula - babysitting and/or stepping in when Liz fails or needs assistance for one reason or another. It would also be nice to get another round with Emily even if it's bad and her attempting to manipulate things.

Also, I want to see Jess show off a second completed manuscript that then needs to be edited and published.

Love the Rory finding herself stuff and the change in jobs. I considered that Rory didn't really seem the type to be a journalist, and especially not a foreign correspondent.

Okay so this story is amazing! I love it. So much build up to Rory and Jess actually getting together, but so much happiness when they did finally get together. Also I love seeing the other relationships in this. I love seeing all of the growth between Lorelai and Jess and how they can deal with each other now and everything. Paris is insane as always and it's great. I love seeing how everything with Matt and Chris and Rory has gotten so much better. I'm just really loving this. Jess and Rory are adorable together. Please update this! :)
