I love this story! I love how you used the language of flowers as the center of their romance. I've always been fascinated by the language of flowers.

I was waiting for that ending and it absolutely killed me. But what a wonderful story (headcanon totally accepted) - I loved the poetic nature behind the flowers. And so well written. I really like Violet's character too.

I did see at one point you wrote Aphrodite instead of her cover name - thought I should point that out. But a great yet heart-wrenching oneshot. Keep writing!

There's a shortage of good fics covering certain scenarios out there, I swear. Like Tristan McLean- specifically, how he finds out about the whole oops-I-had-a-kid-with-a-several-thousand-year-old-goddess thing. And the rest of it, too, for real this time, none of that crap about forgetting about it right after.
My point is, I'd love for you to do a story about that. Take this as a suggestion/a tiny bit of a request, if you will.

I knew what was coming, but it still broke my heart. One of my favorite things about your stories is how you have all this information in it, that's like, real information. You actually do your research and it shows how much you care for your stories. It also probably makes you very smart about a wide range of things. I mean, how many people can say they know about Victorian Flower Language? I really loved that, by the way. This story was amazing in so many ways, and my favorite parts were all the little things.
Violet is by far my favorite in this.

I saw that ending coming. Relationships with Divines tend to be transient. Great job! One thing, a third of the way in you refer to Anita as Aphrodite in dialogue. Don't know if it was intentional, but just pointing it out.
