Yeah I think I agree with you on the category. Tossing Alois down the stairs is about as horrifying as it gets and that's not too scary and not really gruesome at all. Ciel'spoor old dried up head is your one spot of "grue" (heh heh,) and that's not too bad. Now if you were going to make sure we envisioned that skull and mouldering clothes and body in detail I'd say leave it in horror, but as it is, a move might be appropriate.
