I love the story idea! Fell in love with this fic, it is very different from some things I have read. Are you not updating anymore?

Ch 1, nt sure saitou would deal with other people's business. Isn't he busy with his work in shinsengumi? Plus, it is rude. Unless that rapist guy is in chosu clan or anti-shogun.

Ch2-4 why is souji so mean? Sure he is mafia boss here but...but to force a girl to see bloody scene is just... D:
The concept is okay but you can put more details and be more creative with plot-play.
Not sure if the heroine is nosy or dork-ly curious. She should know not to pry too much in mafia stuffs. I think she falls to fast for saitou...?

About souji at the end of chapter 5... I have no say but it makes me confused of what to feel. Feels like you just decided to put the scene there like 'bam, there you go' without any details or description of the surroundings(which can add more impact). It is too sudden but not in a way that put me in surprise.

P.s. You are busy, i know. But i look forward the characters' development especially the heroine.

The mafia shinsengumi is still getting me. I absolutely love it! The mental image of Saito in a suit shooting a gun is totally BA! Can't wait for more!

TIS BUT A FLESH WOUND! Aw man, Saito in action. That would be kinda cool if it weren't life and death. So I guess I am curious, actually super curious...is the girl in the photo Chizuru? I doubt its Kyrie but that isn't impossible. I think people are pretty in character but i haven't seen Hakuouki in a while either. I am so glad you updated though. I was trying to get the courage to send you a note to hurry it up but i hate when ppl do that to me and thought it would be rude. At least I know you aren't dead these days, unlike last time.

Saito's response was better than I expected. He did not dishearten her. He is a very righteous and good-natured person, isn't he? He is laconic and that makes him a good listener. I half-hoped he would tell her the truth about Souji protecting her, but I am sure Saito has his reasons for not revealing that yet.

(The mere thought that someone can have missed calls from Okita Souji had me grinning, but it's best to ignore my fangirl side right now.) The three eating out sounds as much promising as it sounds dangerous. . .

The room and the photo... how will Souji explain that when the time comes, I wonder? Heisuke is acting like a cute fuzzball of energy! Haha! So cute!

Ow... Souji's preamble doesn't sound particularly optimistic. How dangerous is it really for them to venture out in the open? I can only hope for the best.

I really enjoyed the interaction between Kyrie and Saito, both in this chapter and in Chapter 4. If I'm reading between the lines correctly (and I may not be), he may have some feelings toward her...and she may be developing some for him as well. That comment she made about it not being like Okita when Saito helped her fire the gun gave me that feeling.

Don't worry if it takes time for you to update. Studying is the most important thing for you to do right now. Your faithful readers will still be around to read when you have time to update.
