You know, this thing just really strikes a cord with me. I've stayed in a psyche ward for a week, and the counselors were either uncaring or seriously unhelpful. One of the other patients were told by the counselor, "I don't care whether you try to kill yourself, do drugs, or drink. It's your problems, and I can't control you." I mean, honestly, what the FUCK. It's your job to control us! They don't even take your problems seriously and think you're out for attention.

So, yeah, I like how you've portrayed the psychiatrist. People just need to know that counselors sometimes won't be helpful at all.
