I just realized this but Saki has kept her socks on all of this time. And she's already at this monstrous level so she STILL has the potential to top that~ Holy. That's transcending god-like or demon-like like level already.

It's these interactions that I'm so thirsty for in canon. Ugh. I really wish the sisters will make up already. Seeing Saki sobbing after Teru ignored her, AGAIN, was absolutely gut-wrenching.

I would love to see some payback on Rinkai for that stalking incident though lol
Anyway, aww Nodoka. I guess her ego is fragile right now. Nodocchi will conquer this trial too!

I used to be a total nerd during school... well I still am, actually, so I used to love Math, second only to Science subjects but once I was introduced to statistics hell I've been cursing it ever since :P

Really, Saki's forte of Score Manipulation is so OP - but that's why I love her. I mean, if you can control the score, you control the game and do whatever you want. It won't matter if another school has this significant lead if she can specifically tweak the game just so the score will land her on top, even with 100pts, she'll still get first place. Scary~
But I actually prefer them Miyanaga sisters and their absolute domination so the huge points gap is bliss hehe (not so with their opponents, obviously)

Also, Saki is too soft-hearted. She needs to realize what or who she's playing and winning mahjong for. It might not be fun because the other players WOULD see her as a monster but she shouldn't feel 'empty' by winning. She's doing this because she wants to win for her Oneechan, for her team, for her school. And it's not like she doing anything bad (like cheating for example) so I think she should focus on those thoughts that way mahjong for her WOULD be fun.

That's gotta hurt Nodoka's pride, but I guess she NEEDED that push

That symbolism of Teru being the mountain and Saki the bloom is god-tier. I LOVE it!

The manga just updated! And there Teru just won the hand by Rinshan Kaihou. Italso showed Saki's special effects of petals when Teru did that so I'm hoping that's a sign that Teru is ready to open up to her sister and make up!

I couldn't stop reading until the very last chapter... It was THAT good. ;) I know next to nothing about mahjong but the series itself was great, even with the oldies-animation quality which, I think speaks more to the plot and awesome-scale lol

Though I died when it hasn't updated for the last 6 years? Hopefully you continue this grade-S fic because Teru and Saki need more love! ! ! (I have a thing for amazing sisters, so I'm biased XD). Going to drop a fav and follow to look out for updates.

There's something really satisfying watching/reading about the Miyanagi sisters' brutal victories. And I agree that Saki is more terrifying that Teru - they fit their positions perfectly. Teru is upfront and know you're going to be decimated in your face with your eyes wide open. You can't just stop it. But for Saki, you don't know when and you just play into her hands like a damn puppet without even knowing. This gives false hope, only to be crushed at the worst possible time.

Please update this, its unfortunate we never see how the others grew, was hoping you could get to the Nationals even though its a long time.
Say how about watch Saki live action tv and movies for inspiration?!
