This was a fantastic idea! Out of all the fics that will inevitably be written for the new movie, I highly doubt many will think to touch upon the Tribe's interpretation of what happened.

Absolutely wonderful! What you've crafted here rings utterly true of the mythology that would most certainly have sprung up around this culture's encounter with Kirk, McCoy and Spock - it's a completely perfect fit. Heh, and I agree with what a few others said in their reviews, that it would be pretty entertaining to have a follow up story where the crew returns a decade or two later, and sees the mark they left. But a follow up, though it would be fun, is totally unnecessary, with how much this story rocks all on its own :)
