Reviews for Gone
Rynn chapter 1 . 6/22/2007
Again, Kay, well done. That was a marvelous read and it feed my curiosity about Azuma and Rill during their time as candidates. It made me laugh and I nearly cried (heart of stone!) You haven't updated and posted anything new in a long time so this is me pocking you with a stick to write more *pokes with stick*.
Kaleidoscope chapter 1 . 12/2/2004
Incredible. Just... incredible.

Can I traslate it to Spanish? I'd love to do that, and of course, put a link to your original story and your profile.
galabad chapter 1 . 9/4/2002
This story has the most mature feel of any MK fic I've read so far. Part of it could be simply because the featured characters are all adults, but there's also some kind of somber, gritty quality that you've infused here that I can't quite put my finger on. It's a refreshing change of pace from the more lighthearted Candidate-driven stories.
Koala country chapter 1 . 8/31/2002
This makes the Planet of the Lost Babes seem utterly unimportant...

Hahaha, anyway, Kay-san you amaze me. You really do. There's just nothing one could say that hasn't been said before, but requires repetition due to the overwhelming supply of intelligence on ffnet! *note sarcasm in latter half of that statement*

We're all Kayists, right? Provided we won't have to drink special Koo-aid, I'm fine with it. Anyway, keep writing them and I'll keep reading them!
12808 chapter 1 . 8/28/2002
*huggles fic* Simply and incredibly, perfectly and completely, absolutely wunnerful! I can't get over it! It made me laugh () and made me cry. ("They were all little children[...]) *wipes tears from eyes* You're gifted... (and yes, weirdness better than meaningless. This is so wonderful, and I can't get over it!) *huggles Kay-san*
Nate Grey toolazytologin chapter 1 . 8/28/2002
Awesomeness, Kay-sama! I always wondered about Cain & Azuma as Candidates, and this helps a lot. It's rather odd to ever think of Azuma NOT smoking, he seems like one of the dangerous "kill-myself-slowly" types, if that makes any sense. Although I hope he limits himself around the Candidates; it's rather idiotic to expect someone to save humanity when they're being poisoned by secondhand smoke. ...obviously, I'm not a smoker, but anyway. Great job as usual.
Aurani chapter 1 . 8/27/2002
Has anyone ever told you that you write too well?

I prolly sound like a little ignoramous, rambling like the idiot I am, but I'm seriously starting to worry about my fierce obsession with your works. Your writing is a drug. It intoxicates the mind and stimulates it at the same time. When I read what you write, I feel like I've been separated from my body and am kinda floating around, observing things. Have you ever heard someone describing enlightenment? It's kinda like that. It's kinda like waking up when you're already awake.

It's exciting, it plays with my emotions, and it makes me someone else for a day.

I'm not a big Azuma fan, I don't know very much about his past or Rill's. But I didn't have to know the characters. These could've been Rill and Azuma-like original characters in our universe, and it still would've pulled me off my seat and into their world.

And if you think I really need a life... well, I probably do. But if having a life involves not practicing Kayism, I'd rather keep being the Kay-junkie I am. ;
UE chapter 1 . 8/27/2002
i'm very glad you took up gata's request and wrote this fic. i'm actually starting to find cain to be as interesting as hiead (i'm strange like that). and actually, this fic wasn't too weird at all - any parts that could have caused confusion were always clarified later on, which was nice. john hardin was an interesting add and the characterizations on everyone's part were great.

"you're addicted to guilt."

*siiiiigghhhhhh*...
