I thought it was on Day 1, instead of being a cat, they just popped a summoning circle and let the demon have it's pick. Close, but I was completely wrong. Still an utterly fantastic take. The price for their power is the offering of one soul per graduation year... which means that there was a deal made in the past. It makes blood purity useless no? It also means that muggleborns are descendants of one of the original deal making family... no stealing the magic bullshit. Plus purity... what's there to be proud about? "Yeah I can directly trace my lineage up to the first demon dealing fuck of the family. And I'm so proud!" More, muggleborns are needed, cuz without an ignorant pasty to take the fall for them, a 'great' scion of a pureblood line would be taken instead! So why do the pure have a kill-on for them? |
