There are only two dramione fan fictions that I find believable in their premises and flawlessly executed, and yours is one of them. Many kudos to you, dear author. I'm done binge reading what you've written so far and I loved every single chapter! I have been waiting for this story without knowing it and I'm so glad I came across this by pure chance. This is one of my all-time favourite stories and I guess my number one eighth-year story! It felt so real reading this, like going back to Hogwarts. Your writing style is amazing. I can't wait for your next updates but I understand that life comes first. At least I wasn't waiting as long as the others for you to update. Do you plan on covering the whole eight year until June or July?

I was laughing so hard about the Crookshanks-Weasley-Animagus thought Draco had and now Hermione's weasel-ferret comparison. I love this story already!

You've done it again, another beautifully crafted chapter!
Seeing Draco try and deal with his emotions feels so very raw, I love that it was Pansy who contacted him even though she unwittingly reminded him of the date, but it's important that she did.
Hearing Draco plead with Theo & Daphne to just leave him alone for today, made him seem so vulnerable and I adore it. Draco is slowly learning how to think outside of his upbringing and make his own choices.
The best one being to go and see the counsellor. Their session, though seemingly short on words showed and explained so much. Draco's inner turmoil was really explored and it helps you understand him better and why he struggles so much with accepting his feelings for Hermione. I quite like the counsellor and I hope Draco continues to see her on a regular basis.
I'm happy that he took her advice and went to McGonogall, who then allowed him to go home. I;m also glad he didn't spend too much time with his parents and that could have been counter productive to what he was trying to achieve.
I'd never considered before that Draco kept Crabbe in line, and Goyle to some extent, so it does seem natural that Draco would feel guilty for giving him the space to give in to his worst impluses. Hopefully, by mourning with Goyle he'll be able to get past those dark thoughts.
We need to see this side of Draco so when he's more open with Hermione, we can understand and appreciate the change.

Good to see an update after so long. I still think this story would work better as a friendship between Hermione and Draco rather than a romance, but it's interesting just the same.
