Very in character for McCoy, and the very matter-of-fact Spock. I'd be curious to see what you'd do with the actual exam-I don't recall if it was indicated in the show how familiar McCoy was with Vulcan physiology-he was a fine doctor so he surely was to an extent, but that first exam probably made for some humorous moments. 8-)

Horrible? Not so! I found it extremely amusing. It really sets the tone for how most of their interactions go.
