Yes - both Dumbles AND Fudge are cursing up a storm - as both have rather ugly thoughts.
Dumbledore: Drat - he (Harry) got away - again!
Fudge: Drat - she (Amelia) got away!
Back in Chapter 5, we found out that Fudge wanted Amelia in a "wife" sense; however, while understandable, Amelia herself wanted none of that. Since then - and despite that Harry already had three wives (one of them being Amelia's own neice!) and five concubines, Harry and Amelia have been dating. All THIS does is move Amelia from the "girlfriend" category" to the "wife" category - like what happened to the three new concubines (which Amelia also ALREADY knew about). That says something good (though odd) about House Potter, merely compared to other marriages in Magical Britain - concubines are not a threat to the wives in ANY way.

While Hermione IS getting bashed - it is NOT by Harry - but by McGonagall - and in class. (I know, I know; "That isn't supposed to happen!" Still, when you're wrong, you're wrong - and a teacher, let alone professor, is SUPPOSED to correct such errors in their classroom.) In other words, McGonagall is doing what she is SUPPOSED to do. I don't hate Hermione; I'm actually normally a Harmonian. Still, I AM familiar with professional conduct in a classroom setting - at both ends.)

We have seen this behavior before - in a movie; Google "The Secret of My Success" (starring Michael J. Fox and a young Helen Mirren). I actually have it on DVD; despite its age, I will (at some point) chase it down on BD as well (MCA Home Video). Snippets are on YouTube as well; Google the swimming pool scene AND its lead-up - the limo ride. (The limo ride is just foreplay; it's still one of the steamiest scenes in all of moviedom - despite that no kissing or sex actually happens.)
