This is a fabulous story! It's so fluffy and a bit morbid and I love it! I can definitely see Izaya acting like this. I love how you characterized Rika and her relationship to Izaya. She seems to be go-with-the-flow type of person, at least in regards to Izaya since he brings excitement into her life. I'm sad that you're on a hiatus. Plagiarism is the worst and I can see it can discourage anyone from writing. I think it happens to the best of writers often. Many fanfic writers I've read usually talk about it happening at least once to them. I'm fairly sure they're all middle schoolers and some high schoolers that plagiarize. Don't be discouraged by the terrible reviews, they all seem to be written by, literally, children. You're a wonderful writer! If you every pick this story back up, I'll be excited and be one of the first to read it!

Sorry for being so late in the game but I just reread this and want to share my feelings. When I found out this was discontinued I was heartbroken. I absolutely adore this Cotton Candy fic. Everything is so dark all of the time, like giving a character a mental disease or an eating disorder just to be tragic. It doesn't even make me sad anymore just bored. I understand that to you it is poor writing and cringy, but every single sentence was interesting and fun! And you had the gall and daring to actually make your oc pretty! I know that sounds like a weird compliment but it's true! Everyone's oc is "unique" or "average" or "plain" but seriously how boring is that? And it was just delicious to read. I learned that the white stuff on an orange is called the pith because of this. I'm not asking you to continue. I would ask you how this story would have ended but with the problems with plagiarism I'm not even going to request that of you. And this just sucks because I don't have a similar taste in anime as you so reading most of your stories is kinda out. Even though this story is dead, Thank you for writing it anyway I'm really happy that you did. This made me smile.
