Billy Joe Cobra Biography( My take )
. Billy was born the youngest of 10 kids in San Francisco to an abusive Jewish dad and a black mom. So apparently he and his siblings were grilled to be kid stars in the showbiz by their parents, especially Billy who showed AMAZING talent as a child. He was a former student at Beverly Beverly Academy, but like his nephew Spencer he was this awkward gangly kid with braces who gets into so much trouble, talks to pretty much everything ( yes, everything ) , and sings randomly at halls. He does have a handful of friends who became famous in the entertainment biz, and they are almost as crazy as he is.
. So Billy became famous at the age of 19 and he became so damned famous that his songs are sung loudly EVERYWHERE. In a couple of years he became the highest earning music star, and almost a decade after he debuted as a solo artist he bought his palatial mansion which he renovated and renamed it Cobra Palace. In his lifetime he had hundreds of awards and accolades and the whole world knew his name. He also had a number of lovers, and is implied to be bisexual.
. Vanessa Mcllroy was Spencer's mom's older sister and the love of Billy's life. She is a movie superstar and later on producer who grew up in New York old money but like her husband went through the gruelling transition from child star to movie icon ( although less terrifying ). She has red curly hair, fair skin and deep blue eyes, and has Spencer's sarcastic and blunt personality. She dresses in 80 and 90s haute couture in her younger days, but her fashion matured with age. She and Billy met in the rehearsals in a 4th of July gala at the Hollywood Bowl, she was in her mid 20s and he in his early to mid 30s. Their love produced two kids - Python Leonardo Cohen and Diamond Tiara Cohen.
. However, even Billy's fame had a dark side. He had to fight of false scandal claims and face trials in crimes he never did commit. He suffered vitiligo and had gone through several plastic surgeries. A year before the DTMG tv series, Billy died because his personal doctor gave him too much sleeping pills, in a hotel bedroom in Chicago. He died in his wife's arms.
. So in DTMG Spencer was 14 and Jessica was 11 and they became the new students at Beverly Beverly Academy. Now that he was a ghost he was pretty much the crazy stay at home dad/uncle who missed his old life. Being a single parent was hard, especially for Vanessa, who went through an emotional breakdown after he died. Fortunately she managed with her husband's ghost by her side.
