I'm a Laurel/Oliver fan, I must confess, but I also think that Tommy and Laurel's relationship was an incredibly sweet one and that Tommy had waited an awfully long time for Laurel to see him, only to have Ollie sweep back into the picture.

But I digress. I loved your portrayal of Laurel's grief, of the vividness of Tommy haunting her and of his presence made all the more pronounced by his death. The interwoven flashbacks definitely were a great touch and fleshed out the buildup of the story very nicely.

Bravo! This was pitch perfect. I think TPTB killed off Tommy because he was posing a few too many valid questions about vigilantism and the writers wanted to take the show off the Dexter-style path and more into the "goodies" and "baddies" realm which is a great pity.
I really loved the Tommy/Laurel relationship too. I would LOVE to see you write a prequel about their "friends with benefits" time (while Oliver was on the island).

Heartbreaking! I can really see Laurel reacting this way. Lovely job.
