I have only read some of your stories so I don't know all of your work. This made me wonder if you have ever, or are going to write any stories of Tony as a daddy. Jethro was so hard on him. I wonder if Tony will be the indulgent dad that he mentions in a few stories that he is going to be when he is a father. I can't quite picture that, but I also hope he isn't as tough on his kids as Jethro was on him. He was scary at times. Maybe you should write a story with young Tony calling child protective services. The children of one of my co-workers did that once.
