I love the angst of Kano's inner monologue, and the sweetness of the moment when he confessed and they were about to kiss. And Rin being protective gives me life haha, I didn't expect that twist! Also "burnt to a crisp?" I see what you did there, lol

Kido really is beautiful with her short hair, I'm glad you've written for it! I love how this has a little bit of angst, but was overall sweet~ and you were also able to put in Kido's change, how she's more sure of herself now and doesn't shy away THAT much anymore even if it would get embarassing SetoMarry knowing more than the others is really sweet too, it makes me flashback and feel a lot of things aha~

A prelude to the previous chapter? :D I wonder if Kano re-did the proposal or something when he felt better... but this has been perfect anyway for these two dorks in love. And a reason for Kido to be grateful to be alive, and just the thought of Kano planning to give it on her birthday of all days as also some kind of symbol he's glad she was brought to this world and brought to him... aaahhhh
