First of all: YAY KATARA'S THE PAINTED LADY I KNEW IT!

I really love it when the heroine saves the hero, rather than the other way around. And even better, they save each other! You pulled this off really well. The relationship has developed so much, and so evidently. And the little hints you put in about his wobbly knees. Turns out Katara can be just a good fighter as he is. And just as good at keeping a secret.

I'm enjoying this!

First of all, loving this series, can't wait to see it's continuation.
Second, considering how this series is clearly influenced by The Dark Knight Trilogy, I was wondering if you do get to the boat sequence, how about you put Mai as the prisoner who tosses the detonator off the boat and Ty Lee would be the citizen who retaliates in the last moment. I think if Azula tricked them into playing these roles and letting them die, only to have it backfire, this would be a neat way to portray their "betrayel" of her.

Like how you had the Jet death scene but with Zuko instead. I can really see the two becoming true friends if the circumstances were different. Keep up the good work.

I've been behind on this story and have now caught up. When the apartment blew up I couldn't believe you would kill Katara off, but I know she is alive. Zuko should follow The Painted Lady one day and find out that it is Katara. Anyway great story;keep up the good work.

I love Sokka's logic in this.

"The Blue Spirit has saved the city from the Admiral and his only crime was getting in a fight with a cop. We'll get that bastard!"

"Azula threatened to kill people at random throughout the city and admitted to being part of political corruption? Meh, we'll see what happens."

Why fight Jet now? Why not try to make him a disgruntled ally against Azula? It's clear that Jet wants what's best for the city. Isn't the guy who beat up a cop a less threat than the woman who planned to regularly murder people?

You didn't disappoint. This chapter lives up to what I expect from you and I really enjoyed the fight scene. Will we ever find out who is The Painted Lady?

It was a good chapter, but there's a problem with Azula's message.

Up until the last part, her message to the people of Ba Sing Se sounded like this:
"Hello, citizens, I am a criminal. Blue Spirit is a criminal. Sell him out to me and I'll give you great things. You don't need to lose sleep over selling him out because we're both bad guys, let us fight amongst ourselves and keep you out of it."

After the last part, it sounds like this:
"I am far worse than anything the Blue Spirit could possibly be and with the government under my thumb, he's your only hope."

Kinda drops the ball on her part.
