I do like the first chapter a lot and how Tumble first appears. And of course how Hiccup gets curious. Tumble's background is in depth and I can tell it was given a lot of thought into. I can't wait to see him grow as a character and more interactions with the others. His dragon is really interesting and the two must have a very interesting bond.

The transition to the dream gets right into it felt forced. Maybe I'm more of a slow pace kind of person, but there's nothing wrong with "milking" some of it. Like hair, head/face movements, quirks, gestures (patience or impatient), how loud the voice is, their clothes, sounds, inner thoughts, weather/wind/sun/lighting. Descriptions added in would be a plus. But that's just a suggestion

Great job, Nocturne Symphony, Im sure the rest of the story will be a great read.
