I noticed this was published back in May, but I can't help but BEG you to continue this. You're an amazing writer, your portrayal of Benedict's Khan with TOS Marla was exactly how I would have imagined it. I was biting my lip in that first scene when he went on about her hair, and I loved that you mixed TOS Space Seed content in with Reboot stuff. You should really continue this, even if you don't want to make it into a full length story. Just another long one shot even to make me happy. I'd love to see more interactions between these characters because it was like watching a Reboot version of Space Seed.

It's funny because I'd been reading other fics that had Marla McGivers in them. I chose this one -the one that actually tells me who she is- to look her up, of course. After I read about her on the Star Trek Wikia, I got what had happened in correlation to your story, as well as to the new movie.

All in all, I find this to be most intriguing. Marla seems to b an interesting character and I of course love Benedict Cumberbatch as Khan already ;)

Also- I did notice the difference between the U.K. And U.S. English! Kudos to you! I am British, and I can understand switching the English around when you've got an American speaking when you're a British writer.

Easily put, I enjoyed this first chapter. Keep it up!

Very, very nice beginning - I hope you plan to continue it. We didn't see nearly enough of McGyvers' thoughts in Space Seed, and I love that you're also showing what's actually going on in Khan's head. i really, really like it.

J'adore haha I really like this and I hope you continue. I'm just now getting into the old star trek and am very keen on how precise you manage to maintain Marla's character. Probably the most realistic one I have seen yet. Definitely going to follow and fav this :))
