Welp. This was brilliant.

OMG, this is absolutely perfect.

I'm a newcomer to the Doctor Who fandom (I've caught up with the series one week days ago) and though my OTP forever and ever is Ten/Rose, I love Eleven/Clara SO MUCH, and really, I don't think you have the slightest idea how happy I'm to have found this fic.

I can't even tell you my favorite part because I suspect I'd end up quoting the entire fic. The characterization is flawless. Their voices, their dynamic, the dialogues, the little scenes, Clara being sick, the concert and the hug after (well, I lied; I think this is my favorite part of the fic. The way Clara clings to the Doctor and is unable to let him go, the way she thanks him for what he did... really, I love that so much). EVERYTHING.

This the best Eleven/Clara fic I've read (and yes, I've read A LOT in seven days) and sorry, but I don't know what to say apart from OMG THIS IS WONDERFUL AND PLEASE KEEP WRITING because it's wonderful indeed.

Don't know if you plan on writing more Eleven/Clara (romance, friendship, whatever); I'll keep my fingers crossed, just in case, but I think I'd cry tears of happiness if you did because, well, PERFECTION.

I'm not a big fan of Clara — she's grown on me a bit, but I still think she was at her best in the Christmas Special and never really lived up to that potential — but I still really enjoyed this oneshot. You had the character voices spot on, and it made me laugh, and it made me feel fairly sad, and it was just all in all really well put together.

Wow, that was so good. He wants to trust her, but he just can't, and he wants her to trust him, yet he's given her plenty of reasons not to. It fit so perfectly with the episodes!

but like thank you for ruining my whole life with this, because YES. yes to her not trusting him and him knowing that he deserves but NOT ABIDING it-but also not doing anything, necessarily, TO deserve it. just hating that he doesn't. being stuck. wanting to believe that she's herself and NOT wanting to believe that she's herself because if she is then she is something other than "just clara," and he can't abide that, either.

basically this was perfect and the bit with her mom punched me in the heart muscle.

"Because I know exactly where I am." Her eyes sparkle in a way he hasn't seen since 1892. "I'm with you."

Okay, so this isn't the only quote that hurt my heart, and it's not even the first one, but it's one of them. Basically, you have made me ship them even more (because you like doing that), you made me love Clara more (which I didn't even know was possible), and now I am going to bother you incessantly about writing more dw!fic because you didn't get to see my face freak out while reading this and I know that's one of your favorite things, or whatever. :P All in all: OH MY GOD THIS STORY IT WAS PERFECT. And completely canon!

Oh, I really like that. It fills a number of gaps, provides some really fun headcanons - both for character stuff like the Maitlands, and some of the other Doctor & Clara adventures like seeing the Ood - and just has some really lovely character development. And there's some great character stuff going on there with the whole conflict between trust and not to trust with the Doctor and Clara.

Oh man that was good. Your narrative was superb, and the entire thing was absolutely you for this!

He took her to see her mother! Ahhh! How can it be so sweet and so painful at the same time? I guess that's why the word "bittersweet" exists. I love your headcanon for the Maitlands as well.
I love how you write these two; you have Clara's voice in particular down perfectly.
I hope you write more whouflee, because this was wonderful.
