At this point, I consider Louise (or at least "le Blanc") and Meredy to be separate people. As far as the commoner Meredy is concerned, she really does have no connection to le Blanc's sisters. After that initial spark of recognition, I interpret it as Louise in her state of panic fully giving in to Meredy while simultaneously repressing le Blanc's memories (or at least those of her sisters). So at that time, she really did not remember them.

Zero only appeared for a short time and Louise was planning on dropping the mask before getting rejected, so I'm more inclined to label him as just a role played by Louise.

An important point to mention is that Siesta was RIGHT: Meredy is a lie; no less than Zero. When burying yourself in too many masks, it becomes easy to forget who you are under them all. It's even possible at this point that "Louise de la Valierre" doesn't accurately reflect who she really is. Let's see how she can sort out this identity crisis in her next trip to Fiore.

That said, a question to have asked Siesta: Zero said he would use her as bait to catch the criminal, but the criminal is Louise, who is also Zero. Why would she promise to catch herself?

Well, the mc is supposed to be a fairy member, but at least he tries to commit suicide and the nap attitude is irrational. I understand that she may be hurt for having deceived her, but that the deception is justified to save her and acts as a psychopath yandere.

Now, in the FoZ-verse, there are 5 elements. Fire, water, wind, earth and void. Void- mages are rare as all hells, so that is not really counted in anything. Ergo, square is the highest any non-void mage can get.

I gotta admit, so far I like the story. It feels a bit... Woody at times. A bit square, meh. The writing that is, not the story itself. And my only real complaint is the use of Nakama. I get ticks when I read it, because it just doesn't fit in. Using Friends would be better.

But overall, 2 chapters in, inline it.

The writing is okay, but this character isn't really louise. A year isn't enough time for this large of a personality shift, certainly not to the level you're portraying. The idea that she's against summoning familiars because it's enslavement? Rediculous. They're literally animals, the Rhyme dragon and her own non-existant summon might get a bit of that reaction, maybe, but the usual results are like being pissy about someone adopting a dog.
