Aaa! This chapter was so darn good. The fight and the forgiveness. Gah! It really pulled at my heartstrings. It was so in character too. Congrats on giving me so many feelings. This was an excellent fic.

Sometimes violence does heal things, but not often. A risky tactic for sure, but perhaps in this case one of a limited number of possibilities and the one most likely to work. Those episodes are quite hard on the relationships between the characters, but perhaps that is what makes them such interesting episodes. That and the truly honest attempt to explain a lack of budget in the original Star Trek canonically. Nicely written!

Very nice! Less violent than I was afraid it would turn out to be, and shorter! Have we ever determined where in canon Malcolm's overdeveloped sense of self-reproach and guilt came from?

Wow, didn't expect that to happen! Very interesting move on Malcolm's part, but in a way, I can only agree that this was necessary. Crazy man! But a wonderful moment of healing and friendship. Thank you for sharing!

Nice introspective piece, where we are witness to Malcolm's inner turmoil, where the mask is off. I feel this is a very sincere portrait of the man, and it fits perfectly with the situation after that episode. Can't wait for more!

And that is what makes 'a situation' so bitter - in trying to do 'the right thing', some people will always be 'emotional fall guys' . . . like to see how he approaches this!

I sincerely and thoroughly hope that last line indicates this story will be continued. I love how well you get into this man's head, no matter how painfully.
