I always come back to reread this story. It's so well done, I know you probably won't update it but I really hope you do!

I guess after two years you're probably not going to continue writing this, but it's really good and I hope that you continue it at some point

Why would you do this. I just got back from watching a let's play of Until Dawn, I DON'T NEED THIS.

Aside from that, I'm actually rather liking how this is going. I'm concerned about whatever is preventing anything from destroying everything, and am finding your world-building - what little has been seen thus far - to be satisfactory. It does figure that humans would be... reluctant... to accept supernatural and fantastical elements among their every day life, although I do question the wisdom of creating a chain of facilities dedicated to keeping them down, especially as they've been living among humans for, I presume, as long as written history could care to record, and even further back. Also among the list of curios is what species are kept where. Isn't there a chance for a specie blow-out to happen? I can't easily imagine something hugely territorial and anti-social being capable of dealing with large amounts of other beings, even if its territory is limited to a cell. Also, I'm rather shocked extermination hasn't happened yet, nor intensive scientific studying. Although, I presume that's happening elsewhere?

Ahem. Anyway.
The characters seem to be relatively intact, though I admit I'm not entirely familiar with Green Death - although, if he's anything like Red Death, you're doing brilliantly, aside from the fact that he's even occasionally allowed out of isolation. Toothless is as gruff as he ever was at the start of the movie, although I would kind of like to see some of his book-side snark. Not cowardice - heavens forbid his cowardice - but the snark would be wonderful. Cloud Jumper is... himself. The quiet, overly calm and slightly weird owl-dragon he is. Jack is just Jack Frost, although it feels odd to read a story with him in it and not see his staff mentioned. What happened to that, anyway? Does he still have it, is it being held - what's the story there? Hiccup seems a bit too cowardly for my taste, but he's also developing, which is beautiful to behold. Still concerned about that though. I'm also wildly concerned about the fact that he's been taken by the Wendigo, despite the fact that this story would end chapters early if he was down and out this early. Although... He's probably going to lose a limb in the process. Also, I'm very curious as to how he's going to wrap his head around everything. He's surprisingly calm for having his world essentially implode into millions of fragments. Which again begs the question as to how he's going to help break the control machine/being (choose one at your convenience, or both. A being melded with a machine to amplify a psychic field that serves as a power-dampener? Oooohhh, that'd be tasty.) controlling the supernatural and fantastic. And he is going to have a part; you seem to have stressed his inventing streak for a reason.
Also, on a completely different tune, the Toothcup is present, but not front and center, which is nice. I'm a little tired of the insta-romance stories I've been stumbling across lately, and finding one which puts it on slow-boil is another in a chain of slow-boil balms I've been reading lately. Although Cloud Jumper picked up on it at a glance. I mean wow, that's some shipping instinct you got there. Hiding anything else, you sneaky owl-dragon?

And for one last moment of fear...
Hiccup, sweet baby Hiccup, is not going to be okay by the end of this, because if he isn't traumatized, it's because he's in a blue screen of death, and everything will catch up LATER. And that's just over the Wendigo, not even the other horrors they're likely to encounter... This is not going to end up well, is it?
