Steve Jr chapter 8 . 6/29 Harry's doomed. He can face Voldemort, but sipper with the Weasleys will be his downfall. |
Emmafromkent chapter 17 . 5/9 Thanks for this rollercoaster. Couldn't stop reading until I reached the end. |
xxnarufanxx chapter 17 . 4/21 Wonderful Story. I really enjoyed reading it |
Melindaleo chapter 17 . 4/19 Well done! They even got Ron and Luna out, and at the very least didn't lose Chang. Thanks for taking the time to write. I'm going to check your profile next to see what else you've written. Enjoyable read! |
Melindaleo chapter 16 . 4/19 Vance turned an interesting shade of puce that Harry had once seen on Uncle Vernon. Uhm, when? So, Harry was with the Dursleys at some point. Do we get to know about that? They used so many Muggle things, so he must've had some knowledge of Muggles. Did he live with them? Resurrect Voldemort, eh? Heh - I did a story that tried that once, too. I like the way you've framed it, and I'm not too worried about he Killing Curse aimed at Ginny. Both she and Harry have proved very adept at dodging. Going to go see! |
Melindaleo chapter 15 . 4/19 Damn, I knew Harry would end up having to trade himself for others. What was Sirius thinking bringing that package to him. It should've been opened and a plan hatched before he even knew about it. He's done enough. |
Melindaleo chapter 14 . 4/19 Yikes! There's a cliffy for you. My heart ached because Harry didn't understand why Molly would fret for him, but I thoroughly enjoyed the Burrow scene, and Harry's need to pull away and just observe for a bit. Very in-character. Ginny seems a bit like Tonks with her clumsiness. I wonder if that's something they teach at the Auror Academy? |
Melindaleo chapter 12 . 4/19 I loved the chat between Harry and Ron. I miss their camaraderie. I like Harry's reasonings for not using more lethal magic. I mean, really, once you disarm a wizard, they're sort of useless. It's like taking a limb, so simply breaking their wands or banishing them would be all that's needed. |
Melindaleo chapter 10 . 4/18 Well, that was quite a surprise. Honestly, I was convinced Harry having a new broom meant trouble and was certain someone had cursed it. Nice decoy, there! Looking forward to the Ministry ball. |
Melindaleo chapter 9 . 4/18 I absolutely loved the personality you put into each one of those owls. I was grinning from ear to ear reading them. The scene with Cho and Michael was BRILLIANT. Both of them are still annoying twits. Loved her response. I hope she's just as smart mouthed with her nosy brothers. More points to Ginny in this one! I loved dinner at the Burrow, it was glorious, and a part of me feels so sad Harry never got to grow up with it. George was great. Ron might've been a thick git, but Hermione was just as thick when it came to matters of the heart. Ron usually just takes the full blame for it. The ending was so very sad, but so very alarming that they sent a portkey to the Burrow. The Death Eater attacks seem rather clumsy, so mind immediately goes to Draco Malfoy and his attempts to poison Dumbledore. |
Melindaleo chapter 8 . 4/18 I have to admit, it amuses me greatly that Harry was perfectly fine on his own in Diagon Alley, and yet was attacked in his own home WITH the Auror the Ministry insisted upon present. Point to Harry's column, lol. Tonks getting Ginny to spend the night without argument was a hoot. Point to Tonks! Ginny getting Harry to dinner at the Burrow? Ha! Definitely two points to Ginny! |
Melindaleo chapter 7 . 4/18 Awesome cliffy! Your explanation on why a rock could get through was incredibly brilliant, and I'm with Ginny on this one - the fact they know where he lives is hugely alarming. So, they've agreed to go along with the ruse, but on this one, I don't think Ginny truly appreciates how nasty the press is going to be. I thought Harry was very sweet to worry about it, and I hope she can at least get to her family in time. |
Melindaleo chapter 6 . 4/18 Fun chapter! I find myself endlessly curious about your Harry's past. Obviously, a significant loss in Harry's life was Sirius, which didn't happen here, and it seems he never even went to the Dursleys, so there was no abuse... He's still the Chosen One, but his life seems so much less fraught with tragedy, and yet Remus indicated he'd had it tough still. Eager minds want to know, lol! I really appreciated the fact you had him hold his own against an Auror. Neither would be in the position they are if was too easy, so thanks for that! |
Melindaleo chapter 5 . 4/18 So, Harry's getting cleared to play again. This should be interesting. "I'm an absolute professional at injuries" made me spit out my tea. Great line! At first, I wondered if Ginny had never been to the beach, but I like your explanation of a butter dish moment. Well done. |
Melindaleo chapter 3 . 4/18 Oooh, love the fireworks to start things off. I know this is a romance, and the plot needs for them to be together, but my own fiercely independent streaks makes me take Harry's side. I wonder what his bosses would say if he threatened to quit rather than submit. I know he'd be giving up his greatest love and cutting off his nose to spite his face, but I still wonder. |
