I first read your story when I was in middle school school and you first started posting, and utterly obsessed with the Tortall universe. I've been getting back into it lately, on a pure whim, and forgot how much I loved everything about the magical medieval fantasy world! Reading your stories again is as familiar and dear to me as Tamora's novels. Like finding an old friend again. :) I dont think I was brave enough to ever leave many reviews on your stories back then, so Im saying thank you a bit belatedly now and hoping that you are continuing to write even if you no longer post to websites like ffnet.

Good story! I read the whole thing today, and it not only kept my attention, but also impressed me with the character arcs and plot. Seriously, those elements were very strong, and that is the foundation. I wish that the storytelling was more sophisticated, with more mature dialogue and thematic structure, because that would have made your already good story GREAT. I hope that doesn't sound harsh, because I mean it as encouragement. This was really solid, but if you work on developing, I think you could be really great! Thank you so much for this! I read Nobles' Bane two years ago, and I still love your writing style. The plot of Bloody Thorns was very original, and I never expected Thorn's sister to betray her. Her death was so tragic but I'm glad her baby was saved. Are you planning on writing anything new soon?

Good story :) I liked Thorn. she had a good personality. Definitely has a bitch of a sister though thats for sure haha. But there was a lot of good suprises and dialogue.
