So THAT'S what happened tothat fic! I've een looking for it for the past two days literally! Do you remember what it wa called? Did the author just remove it or did he/she repost it on AO3? I can't find it anywhere. I had favorited it and it just disappeared. I feel like crying. Do you remember what it was called pr who the author was?

That's the most unoriginal and stupid way to start this kind of story, however, the back in time with memories-idea is great and is never actually continued, almost never reaching 10k words, so do continue it.

But still, having him struck by lightning would have made more sense and made for a better opening. And keep in mind that timetravel by lightning strike makes no sense whatsoever - So yeah, that's how dumb the "kami-thing" is.
Also, why mix languages? It's just dumb. Kami is Japanese, you're writing in english. It's like mixing in your native language, except it's worse since your not Japanese! It's just so wap.

But as I said, DO write it.

This is the first time-travel fic that I'm reading in this fandom, and so far it's very interesting! I really look forward to how you're going to change the events and timeline, and what the end result will be like! I mean this time Hikaru is really string, and it might be a bit angsty with his own love for go, but I doubt he'll do anything that he thinks will take away his second chance...rather I'm kind of a sadist for my favorite charcters(in this case, Hikaru)...and I kind of hope it will turn out something close to that(angst) at some points...

He will also probably take the pro examinations earlier...or not I don't know if he's learned that drawing in too much attention isn't the best way to go, you'll get desperate people like Ogata after you...

I really look forward to the updates!

I love the idea of this fic! I have to ask, is this inspired by esama's work?

Come on guys, esama took down her fanfics in early January, that wasn't such a long time ago. the author: there's a yahoo group dedicated to sharing esama's fanfics, you may be able to find which one inspired you by asking around there. Watch and learn and its companion fic are indeed probably what you were thinking about.
On another note: nice first chapter, looking forward to see where you're going to take this idea! Lovely of you to take the time travel route, oohhh boy this is going to be a good read. There's never enough hikago fanfics, so don't be shy about posting!
