This is really a great story! After a long time I've read such genuine Hyouka story. The 1st time I read was Reminiscence of the Classic Club and this is the 2nd time I've read a genuine Hyouka story!

This was an amazing story! It was just what I needed right after finishing the anime and waiting on the manga to update. This is what I wish the anime had more of, Oreki-san in danger or angry. Just more emotional Oreki. It might be just me but I loved the show either way and I'm still trying to get over it's ending. But like you said, all good things must come to a end. Great writing and I'm very happy that you were able to complete your masterpiece. Thank you for satisfying my curiosity senpai!

PS: I'm glad you made the dad the villain in the end, really nice finishing touch!

This. Was. GLORIOUS! I was sort of getting tired in the middle of the eleventh chapter (it's the middle of the night as I type this) but then my eyes skipped a paragraph and a line break ahead ad BAM! That happened! My heart jumped in my chest and I sat up straighter immediately. Adrenaline pumped through my arteries (I mean, veins) and I could barely read, my excitement was so great! *cough* Anyway, that was brilliant. It was brilliant. Brilliant. I should have known it wasn't over, Kurosawa wouldn't let him get away that easily. But I'm so glad that happened! It's exactly the kind of thing I was looking for when I came to the Hyouka fanfiction archive earlier today.

(I finish and anime, and what's the first thing I do? Mope and try and fail to find a new anime! Then I look for fanfictions, of course. XD)

this fic was awesome, really, i was on the edge with the mystery and suspense, the line between trues and lies pretty much disappeared and got me interested and wanting to read more after each chapter, few histories are able to do that and this one is part of the them, good work.

I love your story! Not many can come up with this amazing story line!

Despite the slight difference of how i portrait Houtarou would be in those situations, your words all are playing perfectly in the maze of the the plot that keep getting thicken.

It's so annoying when people add Japanese to a story that's obviously English. It just looks so stupid- no offence. It's okay with the -San and other things like that because that's just what the characters call them but other than that... Don't bother with the Japanese.
Your grammar's pretty good though and your writing's simple (in a good way).

I applaud this work of fiction.

I like how you used Satoshi's random facts to get Houtarou safe and Kohei's plot extending this far is surprising!

Oh wow, this is really good. I like the pace you've set. The story starts out nice and fairly easy, but intriguing at the same time. I think you built up to the end of this chapter very well, as it may have misled some people into thinking that perhaps his father DID have a good reason to try to find his son. Nicely played.
No need to rush, but I do look forward to your next update!
