Allen Oz chapter 1 . 8/13/2008 I must've missed the issues where Cassandrea just started to learn how to talk, but other than Cassandra talking like Tanto, I like the start to the series. |
Joyce chapter 2 . 4/14/2006 Aww...Cass is turning into a real Martha Stewart, lol! :) Great characterization of Tim and Cass, too! :) |
Joyce chapter 1 . 4/14/2006 Yay! A Tim/Cass story! So far, this is looking to be a great fic...love Cass' reaction to the eyeliner incident! |
Mara Roberts chapter 2 . 3/19/2006 "Three very large and imposing body guards came out of the ship... a few moments later, Two-Face appeared." This sentence forgets something central to Two-Face's disorder. A guy whose entire psychosis revolves around twos and halves and doubles should not have such an unholy number of bodyguards. There should be two or four guards and crates, not three. |
anon chapter 1 . 7/19/2005 arrgh... dunno if the last post made it through before I got to finish it or what, so I'm unfortunately going to have to reiterate my point: okay-great, enjoyable story, but one thing I have problems with is something that I've seen in a lot of stories besides yours, and it's bothered me enough that I have to mention it somewhere. Cassandra's language skills are too often depicted as those of a non-native English speaker, particularly of someone who had Chinese or similar Asian language as a first language (lack of articles, conjugation) rather than her actual character, which is of someone whose only language exposure has been to American English (including television shows) and whose brain has been "rearranged" so that her thoughts have perfect grammatical structure in her head. The only problem she has is with actually forming the words she's thinking of-she shouldn't have any problems like saying "Dad no know?" or "No Alfred's cook." She's not Tarzan. Personally, I find this distracting from the storyline because I get an image of Cass as a stereotypical salesperson at the fish market or our man of the jungle, when I should be thinking of her as a smart girl who's got some problems with communication. If you look at how they depict her speech in the comics, or also in the story "Fresh Blud," you'll know what I mean. |
Ronoken chapter 4 . 12/12/2004 This was a wonderfully fun story. |
sdk chapter 4 . 3/10/2004 Very interesting... |
EstherChannah chapter 4 . 12/29/2003 Loved the story. Minor nit-picky point here: Two-Face has a fixation with the number two, which is not really brought out in this fic. For example, he might take a cut of 22% rather than 25%, or insist on a double share. He might split his gang up into two groups, or have two back-up plans. Just a suggestion. |
Iudex Acerbus chapter 4 . 4/14/2003 Great story for Tim and Cass. good plot and wraps up nicely. |
Karen chapter 4 . 3/28/2003 Hi Susie! Wonderful story! A thoroughly enjoyable read from start to finish! Please, do write more about the Batgirl/Robin dynamic...even if you keep them as friends, you portray their relationship so well! |
BrotillaTheHun chapter 4 . 1/13/2003 Wow, yeah this fic was really fun to read through. I don't see enough Cass and Tim fics. I only hope that this isn't the last time you write about them :-p. You touched lightly on a chance at romance...please turn that touch into an all out shove! Can't wait! |
Leon R. Peterson chapter 1 . 1/12/2003 hi my names Clark Wayne i see that your a good writer so look me up im online like every day oh good story |
Crash chapter 4 . 1/8/2003 Well, from the beggining of chapter 3, I can assure you that electrical pannels are not designed with criminal-bases or attempted break-ins in mind. They're designed for firefighters in case of emergencies. By code, they have to be as blatantly obvious as possible. Asside from that, cool finish. Nice bit of ass-kicking by the young duo. But...where'd all the kids go? Closure Man! We need closure on the kids! Liked Nightwing's comments, as always. Loved Cass at the end. You're right, Tim and Cass do make a cool couple. Well, 'til next time. |
Anna chapter 4 . 1/4/2003 It's practically midnight, I just finished building a mini Roman temple for latin class, my room is a mess and my hands are sticky with building glue, but I'm all warm and fuzzy because I read a good Tim/Cas story. More please! |
Eins chapter 4 . 1/4/2003 Hmm. . . their ages are then? Looking foward to the next Tim and Cassandra fic. |
