You might already know this but just to point out a way they could die...

Well if they were shot in vital points by kairoseki bullets, or just injured by kairoseki, they would die.

And my head's not completely wrapped around Haki, but if Brook was beaten up by Haki, I figure he'd die. And Marco too. If it was bad enough anyway.

Looking through your stories and this was the one that caught my eye first... Here you said you had difficulty having unique ideas... I can't tell it from reading this story!

Poor Brook and Marco, having to be alone for who knows how long after their families/crews all died, now to find each other years later. At least their not alone anymore. *lol*

Though for Brook, I wonder has he ever tried drowning himself (he did nearly drown that one time when all the devil fruit users of the Straw hats fell into the ocean) or willingly step into a roaring bonfire and let himself burn to death, since burning might be the only way to end his bony unlife. Wasn't his devil fruit supposed to only bring back someone from the dead ONE time, and the second time he'll stay dead? so since he no longer has organs or anything else that can be fatal to him to induce death, maybe letting himself drown or burn up, or get blown up in battle would finally kill him. But then Laboon will be all alone again unless Laboon dies before him from old age... How old is Laboon supposed to be now anyways in this story? *lol*

Very interesting. I love the concept of these two old souls finding each other.
Marco's age is probably one of the greatest mysteries of One Piece, haha. It baffles me, at least. He looks exactly the same as he did 20 years ago.
I have considered the possibility of Marco being immortal, but never thought to link him to Brook. It fits well, I have to say. I like it.
