Oh, I *like* this. It was such fun to read and I found myself laughing more than once.

My ongoing debate with myself this season has been whether I friend-ship them or ship-ship them, if that makes any sense. But the finale tipped it in a certain direction and this is lovely and witty and overall very them. A touch of humor, some sharp edges, a whole lot of genuine respect and admiration for each other and... yep. Pardon the terrible pun but I'm a happy camper. :D Well done!

You write them very well indeed - and holmes actions here are a great extension of his tender action over naming the new bees .And there is something great about the declarartion Holmes makes in how - after so much complicated - he does it with a simplicity that is worthy of Jane Austen - like calm when the storms have passed ( that is what it reminded me of anyway !
of course there is also a hint of some real hotness just close at hand - and lovely that it is Joan who knows what she wants and wants it NOW and Sherlock who opts for decorum

Just completely wonderful. :) From Watson's joy at Sherlock's compliments, to his reminder about her shoes. (How I wish next season will bring Lucy Liu some relief from those giant heels! I'd like to see her barefooted next to JLM, just to see how tiny she really is.)
Sherlock's kind of a sneaky romantic, which fits just fine with his character. Holmes and Watson are very well done here, and it makes the ending all the sweeter. I find myself re-reading the story often, and wishing it continued. Your take on 'in a relationship' Sherlock & Joan I'd just love to see!

EXCELLENT follow up to the powerhouse Elementary season finale! I would hope the characters would take a break and just like this. As ever, you combine HOT with tender, never compromising character traits. Lovely lovely story! Nodbear will be commenting after the 24 ep airs there (they didn't get the two hour finale). That was an amazing fanfic. It had romance and no OOC at all! A few insinuations that were perfectly placed. They were so well characterized, also the background (the mountain and the idea of a break) was a really good choise. Please, you are so good at writting Elementary's stories as I could see here, do more, continue this one, both, please please!
