So im just going through and reading this story again and I just had to ask; is the line 'you bleed just to know you're alive' from the song Iris by The Goo Goo Girls? Because I love that song and believe it fits Jack perfectly.

Though I do not know anyone personally with Aspergers Syndrome, I can attest to knowing friends who have exhibited such behaviors described above. They do not have easy home lives, simply due to a difference in their families and their own feelings. Thus, the opening of this story moved me quite a bit.
